If you’d like to cancel your subscription, see below for instructions based on how you first signed up for the service. Note that if you cancel while still in your free trial period or before your expiration date, you will continue to have access to the service until the trial or subscription period ends.
To cancel a subscription started on our website:
Log in to SmithsonianEarthTV.com and cancel your subscription from the Account page.
To cancel a subscription started on Apple TV®, iPhone® or iPad®:
Cancel your subscription by turning off auto-renew via iTunes on your computer or mobile device. For more details about managing your subscription through iTunes, please visit Apple's support site.
To cancel a subscription started on Roku®:
Sign in to your Roku account and click on 'Manage Your Subscriptions'. Find your Smithsonian Earth subscription and select 'Cancel'.
Or, on your Roku® device, you can go to the Home screen, find the Smithsonian Earth channel and press '*' on your remote to find the 'Cancel Subscription’ option.
To cancel a subscription started on Amazon Fire TV® or Amazon Fire tablet:
Your Smithsonian Earth subscription auto-renews each month through the Amazon Appstore. To manage your subscription:
- Go to www.amazon.com/appstoresubscriptions and use your Amazon username and password to sign in.
- Next to the subscription, select the ‘Actions’ dropdown menu then select ‘Turn off auto-renewal’.
