Can I use the Smithsonian Earth streaming service on any device, even though I subscribed on a different device?

Yes, a Smithsonian Earth account allows you to access the service on our website and across all supported devices*. To take advantage of this feature, you must have a password set up for your account.

 

If you sign up through our website:

You’ll be prompted to enter an email address and create a password for your account. Once you purchase your subscription to the service, you can use your account email address and password to log in to our website and any of our apps.

 

If you sign up through our app on your connected TV or mobile device:

You’ll be prompted to enter your email address at the beginning of the signup process. Once you’ve purchased your subscription, you’ll receive an email with a registration link for setting up a password for your account. Completing this step allows you to use your account credentials to access Smithsonian Earth across all supported devices, including our website.

 

*If you add us through Amazon Video:

Subscribing to Smithsonian Earth through Amazon Video allows you to access the service through Amazon Video only—it does not give you a Smithsonian Earth account, and you will not be able to log in to our website or the Smithsonian Earth apps on other devices.
